Alongside research, I have taught Mathematics and Physics for about ten years, at university, high-school and higher technical institute level, to students with very different backgrounds: physicists, mathematicians, chemists, engineers, pharmacy and optometry students, and high-school students.
My approach combines mathematical rigour with physical intuition. I adapt explanations to each student's preparation while keeping high standards, and I put particular emphasis on analytical reasoning, independent problem solving, and on connecting abstract concepts with concrete applications.
Tutor for Physics I, degrees in Mathematics and Chemistry: exercise sessions and support activities.
Design and management of tutoring activities (exercise classes, exam preparation, individual support) for:
Contract lecturer for the courses Notions of Mathematics and Fundamentals of Mathematics, Statistics and Data Analysis.
Teacher of Mathematics and Physics.
Teacher of Mathematics and Physics.
I enjoy explaining science to non-specialist audiences too: besides research seminars, I gave the “orthogonal” seminar Chess rating system: Elo for the PhD course in Como (2024), and I take part in departmental journal clubs and outreach activities. See Conferences, Schools and Seminars.
